Never been the kinda guy who says "no" to something like this -and I much prefer western-style stuff , this time. France is a bit far , tough....
Re. the handles of japanese saws , I've got issues with them , too - not the style , OK with that , but the length - it may be good for their style of work , but if you work on a workbench , there's a good 1/3 of it you just don't need...OK , I don't need it , so I just cut the handle to size as soon as I get the saw out of the box.
....wish those Japanese fellas could see meIt's a slow and painful process...the secret is, dont mind the pain.(Ian Norbury)
