Default Enough to put you off cheese

A picture says a thousand words but a very sad story in this case.

I sold a rather nice drawknife once on gumtree. When the buyer came to pick it up he said he was going to turn it into some sort of weapon for medieval reenactment players.

Somebody else bought an old Disston One Man Crosscut logging saw (with both handles) to paint.

Tool abuse does appear to be on the rise.

I can't quite read the medallion, but the saw looks like it's around early-to-mid last century, has a brass spine & looks eminently restorable, so you could chuck away the cheese board, replace the blade if necessary (looks like that will be necessary!) & you'll have a saw for not much more than twice what you should pay.......

Sheer vandalism - why couldn't they have used a discarded hard-point??

    Cheers,
    IW

Well you should all be pleased to know that I have rescued another couple of saws from a potentially similar fate . More for me to get working again.
