The Chisel
Issatree
In Kennith Rogers book Some 19th Century English Woodworking Tools, there was a Henry Holmes who operated in Sheffield from 1871 to 1900. He is listed in the 19th Century Brace and Bit Manufacturers on page 473.
I've never seen a H Holmes chisel in my travels, but you seem to have the midas touch with your collecting. Well done:no::no::roll::no::no::o

That Chisel.
Hi SB,
Yes, I've been through all that you mentioned, but there is still nothing there.
Thanks for the reply, so when I can work out this Photo Business I will put the photo of them both Cleaned Up.
That Photo of them Chisels, cannot be Enlarged, do you know why.
I put another Photo of my Drop Spindle in W/Turning & it came out perfect.Regards,
issatree.
