poor service - anyone else? (EMAIL PROBLEM - ALL FIXED)
I was wondering if anyone else has ordered stuff from toolsforwoorkingwood?
What was your experience like?
I ordered a bow saw from them about two months ago and I have no saw and I cannot get a reply to any emails.
The only email I have from them are confirmation of the order and then another asking for more money because they made a mistake in the shipping cost. I said OK to the extra and since then I cannot get any replies to any emails.
I was wondering if others have ordered through them and how long it took to get your order.
I am rather dissappointed in the service from a company that I thought was a reputable company. And considering with LV and LN (USA), the longest I have ever had to wait for a reply to an email is two days, and most genreally within 24 hours, I am rather P'd off that I cannot get a reply within two months.

Hi Rob
This is extremely atypical. Joel is a first class guy who gives his time and advice freely on forums. He is very approachable. I have had the best service from TFWW in the past. email Joel again - something does not sound right here.

Rob,
I just saw your comment posted here. Your order was sitting here after being returned by the Post office for additional postage and a change of service. We emailed you at the time but we never got the response. So here it sits. I will set the wheels in motion again and send the saw out the door. I have noticed that international email can get swallowed by various filters and there isn't much we can do about it. - Sometimes our emails don't get through and sometimes out customers. In general when sending email- after not getting a response I always ask for a receipt. But even there the system isn't perfect.
Sorry for the delay,
thanks,
joel

Legitimate email does sometimes get swallowed by various filters. A couple of weeks ago I made an enquiry of Watson Brass online through their website and was somewhat dismayed I never got a reply because I had had excellent service from them previously. A week or so later I happened to look in the spam folder (I use gmail), something I hardly ever do, and there was the reply I had been waiting for. My enquiry had been answered quickly, but I never knew about it.

It is good to see this forum being used as a tool for turning unhappy customers into happy customers

Yeah, I've had a few emails disappear into the ether over the years. No error msg in return but no delivery either.
For important ones I ask for a read receipt but not all mail clients at the other end will provide one.
PS never had a problem with TFWWW orders.Cheers, Ern
