Any idea where i can find citric acid for use in plane restoration? I've looked in a few hardwares with no luck. I'm located in Adelaide.

I am alive, not kicking much though, more like a limp foot shake! . . . cough, cough, splutter, errghchtewy!
Yep - powder - blue and white(?) box. I use it to descale the boiler in my coffee machine about once a year.

You used to be able to get it in powdered form supermarkets. It is used to make lemon sorbets and the like. Havn't bought it for some time so not sure if it is still there.

Yup, still at my local Coles. Also, can get in larger quantities from home brewing supplies stores

Yeah thanks everyone. Indeed my local woolworths had it. Mind you only in 75g container. So if anyone knows where to find a decent size batch of it, yell out!

Try Gaganis Brothers on South Rd at Thebarton. They have an incredible aray of food stuff so you might be in with a chance. If they sell a 5kg bag of curry powder you are in with a chance at more than 75g of citric acid!!!

Best bet is a Laboratory supply company. You dont need a food grade. AR grade or LR would be OK. Normal size is 500 grams.
