This thread prompted me to get out my STANLEY VICTOR No 20 Circular Plane. The blade is marked STANLEY RULE & LEVEL CO, NEW BRITAIN, CONN U.S.A. It is listed in the 1898 Stanley catalogue as the Improved Victor Circular Plane (see http://www.roseantiquetools.com/site...tanley1898.pdf) with a price of $3.75. For comparison, the 113 was $2.75, the 20 1/2 was $3.15, the No 5 was $2.50 and the no 7 $3.65.
It is complete except for the set screw on the adjusting wheel and is in quite good condition. It is missing most of the nickel plating. I bought it about 35 years ago and it is one of those tools that I use regularly every 40 years.
