    Hi Pedder,

I feel like I want to reach into the picture and pick up that one with the wenge handle.

I can recognize quite a few of these beautiful saws as ones made by Pedder, and some of the
handles I recognize as those made by Klaus, but I think there maybe only one which is not
    home made...

But, I don't want to give the game away too early....

    Regards
    Ray

    Hi Ray,

all the handles are home made by Klaus.

Hi Cam, no all handles are wood, the pale one is pear tree, wich ist smooth to shape but very difficult to finish. Klaus is doing fantastic on this one.

Absolutely! It is very impressive... (I didn't really think that it would be plastic - but I had to guess something...)

The very beautiful saw at the back of this group of other very beautiful saws has a much longer blade than the others.

    Hi Pedder,

I think the second closest to the front has stainless steel saw screws?
and all the others are brass screws.

    Regards
    Ray

    Hi

There are saws of 9, 10, 10,5 12 and 14 inch so length isn't an issue.

The second from the front has a different angle handle. The others have your fingers nearly vertical, but that one your fingers would be closer to horizontal (sorta)

The saw second from the bottom looks like it wasn't made in a factory but in a small workshop.

    Hi Pedder

I'm far to brain dead tonight to even hazard a guess as to your odd one out and I think F.Chicken is on the right track anyway (althought I reckon it's only one thats factory made) but I will come out of my hole to both bump the image to the next page of the thread and to comment on how lovely that gaggle of saws is.

    Very.. Very.. Noice

    Best regards, Luban

    We have a winner!

The saw second from the botteom is made without taking parts from other saws. The rest has parts (Spines, Blades, Screws) from Spear & Jackson saws, but this one is made from stock by Klaus (spine & handle) and me (blade & screws).

    Thank you for watching.

    Cheers Pedder
