Thread: Coping Saw Blade- Which Way?

I've tried both ways and -- before I bought a coping saw that could actually tension the blade properly -- I preferred to use it on the pull stroke.

I bought the Knew Concepts coping saw a few months back and I now prefer to cut on the push stroke.

I bought a couple of el cheapo frames and they were so flexible that they kept breaking blades on the push stroke, so I tried pull strokes - it works for me.

If I ever get a New Concepts or similar, then I might review that opinion.
