    Default Diamond Stones

I recenty bought a diamond honing stone which works really well but there was nothing in the instructions that said whether it should be lubricated when used or not. Do diamond stones have to be lubricated with water or any other liquid to float off the steel particles?

    Cool Diamond stones

I have been using a diamond stone for 12 months and never lubricated it. If you use water it will rust and Oil will clog. I just give it a brush with a wire brush and that is all it takes. It is also great for touching up router bits. use on the flat inside face only. I mount the stone in the vise and rub the bit up and down.

    no.
If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.
