    Very interesting cast leg design.
The drawer looks like a ring in, especially the fab frame for it.
I sold an ex Lithgow Small Arms bench a few years ago and the drawer runners on it were cast iron.
A mate used to make old butchers benches, still have a few bits of the 6 x 6 Jarrah he used for the tops.
About 12 inches long from memory, magic bits of nicely coloured stuff.
He was always vague when the punters asked where the benches came from.
I have a few sets of iron legs and a few metres of bowling alley, might have to put something together if I can persuade the wasps to move out.
It's dangerous walking around with the iPad in camera mode, here is the letterbox and house number, don't say you weren't warned if you come to buy anything from me.

I am trying to decide whether there are two of these saws for sale or it is a glitch that is doubling up on the posts? And secondly whether it was made in Disston's Norweigan factory

Dunno Paul, probably a case of stuttering index finger. If there's only one post this time, it must've been my finger.....

Too bad it doesn't come with the matching (worn out) jointer.
Innovations are those useful things that, by dint of chance, manage to survive the stupidity and destructive tendencies inherent in human nature.
