"This faculty of being able to see things before they exist and, by the way, this is different from the faculty for seeing imaginary things, which may be acquired by frequent internal applications of the contents of the alcohol jug this faculty is, I say, one of the necessary qualifications of a good patternmaker." (Pg 28)
" if the varnish is mixed with wood alcohol, the patternmaker will suffer, for it is well known that all wood patternmakers subsist almost entirely upon the alcohol furnished by the firm to dilute the varnish, and they dare not drink pyroxylic spirit." (pg 37)

That will be later this year I am thinking about for the frame & top if 125mm x 125mm Hardwood is ok & thank you Dan.

dan.001 You did excellent. You saved $100 off the RRP (30%) in the usa but that isn't why it was a bargain. Here is what the USA sellers charge for shipping.
FedEx International Priority, 1 - 3 business days, traceable, $294 FedEx International Economy, 4 - 5 business days, traceable, $240 (FedEx shipments are traceable, door to door, by customer)
Now If you wanted to get an original Emmert K1 which is bigger and heavier:
I would build 2 boxes to get it under the weight limit for international shippments. Each box would cost about $250.00 US dollars...Live a Quiet Life & Work with your Hands
