    A minor blemish.
Actually, even without the lateral adjuster this will make a reasonable plane. The frog can still be adjusted for a large or fine cut and the mouth looks OK. If it goes for the starting price, someone will be happy.

Far out that's a lot of infrastructure for that wee little blade!

A sight for saw eyes perhaps?

Is $200 per hammer a little steep? Particularly for ten. Then he wants to charge for pickups.

    Hi Peter,

He hasn't got any cross-face or twist face either..

Thanks for the PM Paul, I don't visit the timber milling forums much, but I can remember a sawmilling camp where they used to get the "saw doctor" to do their big circular saws, he did it all over a campfire, and performed miracles with tensioning saw blades.. lost art nowadays...

    Regards
    Ray

Indeed, and very important to maintain both performance and safety. We do have a saw doctor or two participating on the forums, but I don't know if they are active at the moment.

Sorry - not a hand-tool - but might be handy if you're making a workbench, kitchen or bathroom renovation, or wanting to mill some lumber ...
