Default Falcon 151 spokeshave parts, do they exist or should I just use Stanley?

    Hi All,
Just picked up an F 151 (Falcon 151) spoke shave body with adjustment screws, but no blade, cap iron, cap iron screw or locking screw. It was only $15 so I thought why not. I didnt think it would be hard getting the parts. Apparently its a clone of the Stanley 151 so I thought Ill just get some parts and no worries.
I made a call to a company in Melbourne and was told he was still waiting for Stanley Australia to forward his last order for spoke shave parts. Hmmmmm I think I might be stuck unless I want to order the kit through ebay from the USA.
Would anyone know or have the ability to provide any companies that may stock the blade, cap iron, cap iron screw or locking screw for a Stanley 151 spokeshave. I could also, if I can find them, utilise plans that would enable me to cut, grind, harden and temper my own blade and cap iron. If anyone knows of any drawings etc for the 151 parts that may help as well.
    Cheers

Never actually seen one in the flesh but looks like the parts are the same as Stanley and Record. Not sure on the threads being the same. There is a complete one on ebay just now but perhaps a bit over priced.

    Hi Stuart,

There is a Falcon spokeshave 151 in QLD on Gumtree:
    Error Page
Although with postage, the total cost would be a lot more than what you paid for your spokeshave...

    Hey mate,

These come up fairly commonly on ebay. I'd just buy a second one for parts - probably only set you back $20-$30.
