Falcon #5 rebuild
Hi all. I was graciously given a couple of #5 Falcons back in August by stevepay when he was moving house. Having tidied up the first one back in August, I put the other one on the backburner due to deploying for 3 months. Anyways, decided to have a play with the second one. It has come up nicely, but unfortunately there is no mounting hardware for the rear tote, i.e. no screw for the front of the tote, or threaded rod and brass nut for the main body. Do Stanley fittings fit a Falcon, if not, what about Record? Failing that, does anyone have genuine Falcon parts that I may be able to acquire, assuming the price is reasonable?
On a side note, I finally got around to sharpening the blade on a wooden Mathieson that stevepay gave me, and after putting a bit of wax on the sole, hit a piece of 4x4 Oregon. What an absolute pleasure to use, it just glided over the wood. Didn't get the whole see through shavings thing happening, but had lovely curly shavings nonetheless.

Record use the same non-standard thread as Stanley : 7/32" 20 tpi Whitworth (but not British Standard Whitworth), for both the threaded rod and the toe screw. Although I think both brands now used metric threads on current models.
I don't know if Falcon copied Stanley threads too, or used something more sensible.

Would be much appreciated. If I can get the right dimensions, I may be able to get the guys at work to make some for me.
