I was rather chuffed to be treated to a couple of 3ft long Irwin XP clamps, the fancy new ones with the parallel jaws, something I had long lusted after. loved them so much I bought another two.

    This one.

Came out of the blue. Turns out one child and SHMBO had seen it on my watch list on ebay. It was really only one of those things I was toying with.

I might leave some more things on the watch list.

Try it. It's beats leaving notes around the house. Problem is more with availability of No1s than the concept, but I suppose that is the point.

I've done the same with the Lee Valley wish list in not too subtle a way. They have a seachable wish list that is password protected and I have given this to my N&D. I like surprises too, so that's why there's a few things on the list

Do they come in pairs so you can hang them from each ear or do you just hang it from your nose or perhaps another private part?

I was given a Carbatec apron, I guess because I've messed up too many formerly good clothes.
