Peter aka HeavensAbove, has a pretty sizeable collection of historical information about files and filemakers, he might be able to add some more? Peter, did you put it on line anywhere?
Regards

Good job Toby. Seeings how I'm just about read-out on files, are there any of them that have good info on saw files (presuming you've read them all cover to cover )?

I have read them all, in the past and once again before I posted.
They speak of the steps involved in making files, from the steel production to blank shaping to cutting teeth and much more. But they don't give taper info or other small details that you may be looking for. They are worth the read though. (in my opinion)"Life would be infinitely happier if we could only be born at the age of eighty and gradually approach eighteen."
