Flea Market Special - Rough Rough!
Picked up a couple of Disstons, an Acorn Plane and a big square for $30.00 the lot.
The plane, despite lots of surface rust appears very sound. Everything works and it looks like it has never been used. Probably not very old....only $15.00, what have I got to lose.
Both the Back saws cut well and the square is well...square.
Looks good at the markets....Looks like lots of work at Home

well done, those Disstons should come up really well
You can never have enough planes, that is why Mr Stanley invented the 1/2s

Grunt, She has seen this post and didn't say anything.
If you saw some of the sellers at the market its likely I did pick up some Fleas.
Actually, I think I picked her up at a Shipyard in Newcastle

Well done with the Disston saws. See: the woodworking gods have smiled upon you because of your sterling work in salvaging those roof timbers.
