Galoot: How-to website for metal plough & combination planes
I found this website by accident and it goes into great detail on combination planes - their parts, manuals and photos of how to use them (with tips). I haven't found any previous reference to it in this forum so I've taken the liberty of posting the URL for the "Darksiders/Galoots/Neanderthals" here:

Hi Paul,
Alf's web site gets mention now and again. She's done a tremendous service in pulling both original material and links to others for the plow planes. Great woodworker as well.
I forget her user name here, but I think it's UKalf. Here's a recent thread (also contains a link to the combo page). I mention this thread because we all want her to write a booklet or book on using the things--you reading this Alf <g>...
