My Old Hammer
I inherited an old leather handled hammer and the grip has gradually deteriorated. Someone told me it would cost a lot to replace this particular brand of hammer and it is beautifully balanced. Does anyone know if someone can replace the grip? The old grip is a series of leather ringlets that are packed close together. I live on the south coast of NSW, so someone close would be better.

also, try a search on here for leather pen, and leather handle cue, as a few other folks have done similar projects made from stacked layers of leather.

I just saw this question on another post! there is a page on estwinghammer.com that shows you how to replace a leather hammer handle...
