Can you post a picture Toby? That Canadian site won't let me see their pictures unless I sign in - and I'm not a member.

I still get the link Toby.
But that hand cranked chain saw could do with a laser guide.

I've seen a hand-cranked trepanning chainsaw before. I think this is a burl-cutter's version used for clandestine gathering of illicit burls.
.
I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.
Regards, Woodwould.

I duno about a laser guide, I think it should have a steam engine attached. I think I'd rather be the wood than the person on the saw.

Reminds me about the Irish wood cutter.
Used an axe all his life but eventually, the boys with the chain saws started making the big money.
So he decides to get one, goes to town, gets a good sized one, back to the woods.
2 days later he is back at the dealer demanding a refund. Dealer asks whats wrong with it.......Paddy replies..."to be sure its modern but have you ever tried to swing one of these things, no balance and that toothed bar handle with teeth is playing merry hell with me hands......."
