Hand Saw ID
Ok, here's a little test for the hand-tool hive mind. I just bought this on a whim and I don't have the saw spotting skills to identify it. To add to the challenge, they are blurry, blurrrry photos... not quite blurry enough to hide its crazy teeth.
Release the hounds!...I'll just make the other bits smaller.

Sorry, I normally do all my posting on the phone when I'm supposed to be doing something else but now I'm on the real computer and I don't know what's where. ... the word 'this' was supposed to be the link.
I like the sound of that pimped out bone handled saw though.

The only brand I can come up with with 'land' in the name is Welland Vale, but it doesn't really fit.

I can't make anything out but England comes in names quite often.

Interesting etch Matt ...
From the medallion it is probably made by Disston, but I'm guessing it will say 'Warranted Superior' with the inner circle having either the keystone icon or blank.
There is the Disston #107 ... and early Keystone branded saws ...
Online Reference of Disston Saws -- Keystone 107 Saw
Online Reference of Disston Saws -- Keystone Brand Saws
and then later the Pacemakers and etc ...
Fine Tool Journal Fall 2001
Online Reference of Disston Saws -- Keystone Saws ca. 1935
I'm going to make a Wild-Ass Guess (WAG) for earlier than 1930s ... and maybe a "Jackson" branded saw?
Cheers,
Paul
Also ... when you have it ... one way of trying to see an etch is to pool WD40 or $2 degreaser spray over the area, then shine a torch at different angles in a darkish room.
Cheers,
Paul

I'm tempted to say 'Simonds' ... there seem to be some around ... but the medallion doesn't sell it ... and the handles are different ...

Hand Saw ID
Better than any guesses I made, Paul. I'll have it in a week so presumably I'll be able to give you more to go on than 3 blurry photos and 6 letters from the etch.
Matt...I'll just make the other bits smaller.

Don't know if this will help or not, but the handle shape resembles an Atkins to me.
Can't offer any other advice - would love to see the saw close up.
Nice saw by the way.
Cheers
