Well it IS a hand tool....
An interesting garage sale find here. I wonder how many people could identify it without the assistance of Google...

I'm quite chuffed with at as an addition to my slightly out of the square tool collection.
Older than it looks - 1895 onwards. I think it is quite rare and in standout condition compared to the few that are out there. None I can find have the accessories either. There are a fair number of later and much rougher finished American versions out there.
And it is ... a wallpaper trimmer.

I would have got it as I've seen a similar one in an antique shop in Wondai but I've no idea how the attachments work.
I think there is supposed to be a long-ish strip of zinc to use as a cutting guide as well?
It's a good find anyway; thanks for sharing!Nothing succeeds like a budgie without a beak.
