Handtool book reviews
For all the un-powered hand tool enthusiasts out there i thought id share a little gem i recently discovered. I was recently given a few issues of the Mortise & Tenon magazine as a gift so Ive been fully immersed in ad-free human sweat powered period furniture woodworking technique pages of their magazines. My eyes and brain thanked me profusely, was truly a pleasure to be taking my time reading as i do a book through these magazine.
It also had me thinking about some of their other books in the works and pricing. Then to wonder whether anyone had already owned one of their books and have reviewed it so i wouldn't have to spend the $58USD plus USD shipping to get it into my hands purely for more ad-free browsing pleasure.
I then stumble upon Hand Tool Book Review – the podcast for woodworms blog and his fantastic review of the book i was looking for, then for other books i either already own or have considered in the past to purchase, then to discover he has a podcast that he publishes his book reviews on and also shares the same ad-free appreciation by only having patreon supporters and no ads on his podcast.
Feel like ive stumbled onto a woodworking purists layer of knowledge sharing , this is the review that initially grabbed my attention Episode 17 – Hands Employed Aright by Joshua Klein – Hand Tool Book Review
Anyway thought that there might be people willing to listen to an interesting podcast or read objective reviews about titles they have been considering purchasing previously as i know i had considered Chris Schwarz "Handsaw essentials" until i saw the price tag, he touches on this point also.
Along with an entire Narration of the Anarchists Workbench book also - Narration of the Anarchist’s Workbench – Hand Tool Book Review
Anyway, enjoy!

Delbs, after thinking that a woodworking podcast would be mind numbingly boring, I started listening to Shop Talk Live last year and have been really enjoying it. So thanks for linking this one, I'll give it a whirl.
I'm eagerly awaiting some reviews on Mike Pekovich's new book even though it won't be strictly hand work related, as I thoroughly enjoyed his first one.

Yeah I agree it's been hit and miss finding woodworking related podcasts that stick. Aside from this book review the other two that have kept my attention for a while now are "This crafted world" and "Mortise and Tenon podcast". Both different but I appreciate the diverse conversations they both have.
