When I contacted him ages ago I found him on Facebook and sent him a messenger message. He was quite responsive to messenger.

Just wanted to say a public thank you to John Rendl for selling me his HS chisels. I received them very quickly and can't believe I am now the owner of one of Trent's sets. The quality of presentation is ridiculous; considerably better than my Lie Nielsen daily user set -- and that is saying something because I thought the Lie Nielsen chisels presented very nicely indeed. For example, Trent's chisels are very well polished on all sides. I can't wait to start using HS chisels as I've found A2 steel crumbles prematurely on the harder timbers -- here I'm thinking of timbers like Blue Gum and Sheoak. Cheers.
    Warm Regards, Luckyduck
