BD,
just back from a trip to the Southern Coast of NSW.
So I missed the sale this time...no selling or buying at the sale....however found a nice big Preston Bum Plop (plumb bob) at a Sunday market for a couple of dollars...
Any reports from the HTPAA sale...what did I miss out on? How much did I save by not being there ?
Regards,
Peter

Hi Peter,
Yes I noticed your absence - was told you were overseas (Philip Island or Tasmania)!
There was a rather nice un-handled Holland smoother that may have taken your fancy. It was more a sale for the discerning user I'd say. Seargent VBM no8 for $70. Pristine Record SS no5 at $45 etc.
I came away with a brace of rounds, and a rather early Tyzack tenon saw (rather deep and short). I suspect you saved some money, but found little extra space in the shed as a tradeoff
best,
B-D
