Question Can anyone identify this block plane?

    Good afternoon all.

Can anyone here identify what sort of plane this is and who might have manufactured it?

I don't know - I haven't seen the plane in person. I thought Kunz as well - being that green. I can't find a reference anywhere at the moment to find out.

Hmmm. Well, it's Kunz green and that knurled head on the 'lever' cap appears on their version of the #220. Exactly what it is, that would take an expert opinion.....

Kunz planes look pretty crude, and different.

    Default Kunz Pocket Planes

These are the closest that I came to finding a match, but still no winner.

The guys who sold this believes that they were sold by HobbyCo.

    Well,

A bit more searching and I found a brand called "Hobbies" from around the 1920's. I thought that I'd found the culprit, but then I discovered this.

Here's a couple of similar planes (they are slightly different) on eBay. Suspect #1 and Suspect #2.

Since eBay listings do go the way of the dodo, I have attached a few pictures.
