Default Identifying plane maker company E.parker&sons

    Hi all and happy Easter!

I'm on vacation at my father in laws place; they live in a farming community in Norway (just outside of Bergen). I just went roaming through the old tools in the barn and i found a collection of old planes and a e.a berg 40mm chisel with red plastic handle and bacho logo over the fish, probably made right after the fusion of bacho and e.a berg.

The wooden planes had a mark stamped in the cuttingsteel, the stamp was a half circle put on top of a square. Along the radius of the circle this was written "E.Parker&sons", in the square it was written Warranted cast steel, and in the middle of the entire stamp the numbers 3709. I wish i could post a photo but I don’t have a camera or usb cable to my phone.

Can anyone tell me something about the maker, age of the company/planes, anything at all based on the logo? I have seen the mark many times at antic fears and such, but I have not been able to get any information about it at all.

    I like that.

E.Parker & Sons appear (google says) to have made cutlery. Any marks that you can see on the plane body?
We don't know how lucky we are......
