KR clamps
The latest issue of Australian Wood Review, page 10, has a write up of KR clamps manufactured in WA by KR Engineering.
Has anyone ever heard of, used, owned one?
I will be in Perth next week and may go have a look. If everything goes to plan, I will take some pictures and provide a bit more information.
According to the review, the clamps are sash type but based on rectangular tubing 40 x 25 mm with 3 mm walls and the clamp foot locks into holes punched into the walls of the tube. The reviewer says they are good value and highly recommends them.
From whitepages.com.au:

I have no association with the company. The first I heard of it was when I saw the review in the magazine.
It only takes one drink to get me loaded. Trouble is, I can't remember if it's the thirteenth or fourteenth.

Robert,
I haven't tried them yet but they look very good. I saw a couple a builder come chippy had the other day. Probably come into their own on larger timber stuff where the cheap sah clamps can be a pain.
However, be very careful. KR engineering are the Hammer agents. A trip in there can result in divorce. Leave the cheque book at home...and
Take the credit card............Wahoooo
