Laminating wooden mallet
Last night I broke my scummy wooden mallet while banging away trying to separate some PVC pieces, so I figure I might as well make a replacement out of some rough yellow box I have lying around.
Unfortunately I don't have any single pieces big enough for a head, so the big question is: can I laminate two or three pieces together and have the glue withstand the pounding, and if so, is there a better direction to orientate the glue lines (left or right in the attachment)? - remembering that the handle will be in the middle too.
