Default A late Xmas present to myself - Ho ho ho (ba)

I read about using jojoba oil to protect tools in something written by Chris Schwarz. So when I saw a 1 litre bottle for $53 on ePay, I thought it might be worth a go - especially as I never seem to be able to find camellia oil in Woolies or Coles or in the local Asian grocery stores. Apparently it dries even drier than camellia oil and protects as well. I will let you know how I find it.

1 litre will probably last me several years, so I am happy to supply up to 6 x 100ml bottles of the stuff for $5.30 plus p&p to anyone who would like one (if you want to you can arrange to pick one up from my office in the city or from home on the weekend).
    Cheers

    Good buy.

    Can it used for cooking?

I was able to find the last bottle of Camellia oil in Woolies about four months back. I have yet to open it as I was still using the old singer sewing machine oil. On Sunday I had a friend come over and open the bottle to use it for cooking some meat. Serves me right for not putting this in the shed.

Not sure if it can be used for cooking, but it is used for making facial creams and as a carrier for smelly oils that girls like to heat to make the house smell like a lavender garden!

Then you have an alternative to actual using it for wood working purpose.

Keep it away for the girls.
