The Level Bubble
I have a 40 year old 1 metre Stabila level, that is in dire need of new bubbles. I have combed the net and can only find wholesalers/manufacturers who will supply a minimum of 50. I only need 3 bubbles in a block of resin about 30 X 15 X 15mm
Is there any one with a suggestion to my dilemma? The main reason for a rejuvenation is mainly sentimental. My dear old Dad gave me this level when I became an apprentice. (And before you ask I have been using a Fat Max for a few years now in place of the Stabila) Luckily replacement bubbles can be fitted as the design is different to the current range which fall into the "throw away society", that are set in the factory and cannot be changed.Just do it!
Kind regards Rod

I have "restored" a couple of old levels that were donated to our Men's Shed.
I went to my local $2.00/reject shop and bought some plastic levels for a few dollars, removed the bubbles from them and installed them in the old levels.
Nor original, not glass, but they work and you have to look really hard to tell the difference.
