Default Lever cap lever bit needed!

Hi Guys, after plenty of distractions and work since my last post regarding restoration of planes etc...

    https://www.woodworkforums.com/f152/h...-parts-107107/

I have again begun to make some progress. I am at the moment sourcing some parts for my #7. The #7 is an early one with no name on the cap and just a B casting on the back of it. The cap itself is in great condition however the lever bit is snapped in half (see pic). I have carefully pushed the pivot pin out and removed it. To my surprise it also has a B casting mark underneath! From what i can tell the lever part would be common to all size lever caps of a certain era. So my question to all the hand plane fiddlers and fettlers out there is......Does anybody have maybe a broken lever cap where the lever itself is in good nic??? Of course i would like one with a B casting wouldn't normally care except that it is an heirloom and if i can keep it all consistent then i will. Prepared to pay of course if someone has one they dont need.

    Thanks

    Ash

    Ash,
I have a lever, a "B" casting from a #10 that was broken and welded. The part on it you need is OK.
PM me your postal details, and I'll drop it in the post Monday.

    Regards,
    Peter
