I started the current batch a few weeks ago, but can't say how long it took, because I was doing other jobs as well, & didn't keep track of time spent actually working on the gauges (one of the luxuries of retirement! ). There are quite a few hours in each, not just for the woodwork, but making & fitting the metal parts as well. It's definitely a labour of love - not a commercial enterprise. But it does add value to pieces of nice wood that are too small for much else.....
