    I'm slightly uncertain this is 100% real ... but it's a great idea.

    It has something to do with the Hokkaido Garden Show, 2015.

    The youtube poster thinks it has something to do with the 2015 garden show but I watched that clip at least 2 years ago on Vimeo I think. Still very clever. I'm sure there was a 'making of' video as well.
    Maybe they are recreating it for the garden show
    Those were the droids I was looking for.

    I saw it a few years ago as well - I think it was an advert for a mobile phone which came in a wooden case - almost certainly Japanese and I think it could have been 5 or 6 years ago
