Magic ties ??
hello,my name is Alan here in the UK I wonder if anyone can recognise these and knows where I can get them, I bought a couple of packets (4) total about 10yrs or more ago and they have been so useful for holding all shapes of work. 2 have broken I presume affected by the light. Every company I have tried suggest they do all sorts of cable ties but !!!!.. They are very powerful and if I could find even the correct name it would help. They are about 350/400 mil long you wrap them around the pieces you need to hold, push up the yoke and tighten the black handscrew... Many thanks, Regards Alan

Magic ties
Yes indeed exactly like that. many thanks for the info I can now follow that up.One of the main jobs I used them for was also temporary fixings for ham radio aerial poles when camping as well as woodworking..I think that maybe when available in England they were as a promotion and they then quickly disapeared from sight..I'll search uk instrument making suppliers to see where...Many Thanks, Alan
