I've been using a couple for 12 months or so. They work great. I've had no problems.
Those were the droids I was looking for.

I have a Bench Holdfast. Used it last weekend for securing 4*4 lengths of Brushbox whilst I chopped mortices and tenons. Simple, effective, what more could I ask.

I've got a pair of the larger holdfasts. They re ok for a budget choice and available locallyish for me which is why I chose them. The one thing to note is that they appear to be made from cast iron and just pulled from a mould. With this in mind I'd make sure you don't try and fasten them to much with a metal hammer. A wooden mallet or wooden off cuts work fine for me.

In saying this they have worked well so far, but I can't say how well they will hold up for durability.
