The Best Things does have them (see here) and they do post to Aus - I found their service very friendly and they were easy to deal with - prices were about right or slightly higher than some but postage was about average - what won me tho was the quick reply to email questions.
Regards
Rob

Plates
Thanks MALP.. in the finish i bought some of the ATOMA and DMT plates.
I couldn't find anything bad about these plates and "So" from the Japanese forum speaks highly of the Atoma.
Like you, i was after the solid steel backed plates as i read just way to many saying the other type were not flat. i have a couple of the Norton water stones and i find them very good as well.
