Thread: New (OCT 2005) Bessey Clamp Order

For those of you that ordered non-bessey items (like the Laser Guide, Microjig Products etc) with your clamp order, these are being arranged for shipment next week.

As explained, most of you saved heaps by getting your clamps sent to a delivery point. However, the extras coming direct from Northwood will incur shipping costs.

The co-ordinator has been advised of the costs for shipping clamps not sent to a delivery point, and the extras will be advised next day or so.

With only a couple of minor items left to deliver the Bessey Bulk order 2005 comes to a close.

I just hope all who received benefit from this exercise appreciate the amount of work done by Burn Alting on this. Observing from the sideline, the amount of correspondence on file with Northwood from Burn resolving questions, issues, dates, prices etc is mammouth ! And then there is the complex spreadsheets he designed, the follow up for money on our behalf and so on . . .many many hours donated by Burn, who could have probably built a houseful of furniture in the time expended.

I dip my hat (or I would if I wore one) to Burn for an excellent well orchestrated event with NO major drama at all.

I suggest those who participated might like to get your heads together and work out some simple gesture to show genuine appreciation for the dedication Burn showed.
