    Default What price the Bergs?

As of 5 minutes ago they were at $405 AUD. My guess is $540.

    Cheers

There were six bevel edged Bergs in used condition sitting above the nine that just sold for $285, starts to make new LN's look underpriced. At almost $50 a chisel Soundman is beginning to look cheap.

For the life of me I can't see why you would pay so much for used chisels with dinged handles when there are some decent modern makers with a reasonable product. AWR posted a review some time back that gave some brands a good score. I must be missing something some where.

    I recon $450. at least.

I saw a set of 6 bevel-edge ones go for $US610. These will be popular with the collectors too. I reckon $550-650, and that they''ll never be used. It's a strange world.
