Old Gunny - that is Myrtle Tree (Canthium oleifolium)when most people talk of Myrtle they tend to mean Tasmanian Myrtle (Nothofagus cunninghamii), which looks like this.
Its more a pink color, rather soft, a variant of Myrtle is Tiger Myrtle which has fungal infection, giving dark tiger stripes to the Myrtle.
Like this:
Here is an example of a highly figured myrtle chisel handles.
At the end We will have a choice of three timbers. Their will not be only one choice, but three.
I can put you on a waiting list, as we are getting very close to filling out second sheet. It all depend on what the water jet cutter can get out of a single sheet.

Hi TS,
would it be possible to change my order from option-1, to option-3,
as I think it will take me too long to find the time to finish the chisels otherwise.
I would rather spend the time using them, than working on them.
I will only need the one set of ferrules, so if I can still change my option, I'll only need the ferrules that come with option-3, and not the extra ones I asked for previously.
I hope all that makes sense,
thanks, Ironwood.

I got a quote from Nicole for the brass ferules. She has quoted $2.98 per socket.
We are still within our target price.

Got room for one more on the waiting list?
I'm sorry to say that I caught wind of this thread sort of late, Thumbsucker. Don't suppose you could put me on the list for a #6 set with the Myrtle or Tas Blackwood?
Thanks,
Palosanto
