Guy the US is no problem we have shipped to the US in the last chisel order, and to Canada for the last Stanley order. Postage comes to about $60, payment is best done via paypal.

I have added you to the list.

Old Gunnie I will add you to the list.

I do not have net access to my computer at the moment.

With the pairing chisel order taking up half a sheet, and the 4 mm thick plane blades and the turning scraper taking up the rest. The same is true for the 6 mm sheet which has now been filled by firmer chisels, the turning chisels and the plane blades we are pretty much full up.

We may have some spare at the time of cutting, but we will not know this exactly until I give our numbers to the waterjet cutter. You may at that point be able to pick up spares.

    Hi Thumbsucker,
I bought chisels in the first order. Very happy.
Are there any chisels left in the second order

Gezawa I have added blackwood to the list.

TomG - I am glad that you are happy with the first batch of chisels. I can put you on a waiting list for the second batch but for the moment I am not taking more orders until I hear back from the waterjet guy.

I have sent an email to Bohler requesting prices and stock level of M2 sheets. As soon as Bohler confirms stock, I will forward the CAD to the waterjet company who will do the nesting for us and then we will know how much if any space we have left.

Just a quick update I am trying to secure the 4.5 mm M2 plate for the chisels at the moment. This order is till going ahead. I am just chasing up the last bits of logistics at this moment. Expect movement on the farm asap.

I got a quote from Russell the waterjet cutter and I have a quote for the steel sheets. I am however need to get quotes for the handles and the sockets. I will have them in two weeks.

So far the cost of M2 HSS, the waterjet cutting, the heat treatment and surface grinding comes to $55.65, per chisel, the socket should be about $4 and the handle about $6. So we are looking at about $65 per chisel without a handle and $75 with a handle at this point.

I will confirm final prices in the coming week.

We are 0.3 sheets over in the 4.5 mm thick sheets, so we need to either drop some things. Or we need to fill 0.7 more of a sheet 4.5 mm sheet. It will be much simpler to trim back the order.

Is anyone interested in dropping out of the pairing chisels order?
