Plan ID unusual blade
Hi everyone can anyone help me identify this blade logo and possibly the Bailey style plan it sits in. These are the only photos I can get out of the seller.
I have attached a screen shot of a google search of the blade logo that may help.
cheers

I’d walk away from this one; it’s just another Stanley clone and in poor condition. I don’t recognise the logo stamped on the blade; I would say it was from a very short-lived manufacturer of cheap tools.

I dont know enough about German tools to be able to give an informed answer. Kunz are fairly common and if thats one of the family its likely of middling quality. Thats about all I can say. That one however will need a lot of TLC to be a user. If its going cheap and you need some practice at restoration then take a chance for the learning experience.

It's a Kunz for sure. As the others have said, Kunz is/was of middling quality (they're still very much in business) & added to that, it looks like you have a deal of work to get that old girl operational. I'd think twice about it if it was a freebie, but if you are a dab hand at plane restoration & you love a challenge, maybe 5 bucks would be a fair price......
Cheers,IW
