    I agree a slight angle aids in both control and comfort I also think a shelf on the front top area (don't remeber what the top of a plane is called) and a 7 - 8 degree angle on the toe adds something.

    Your woods are awesome.
    They do look great and very hard I have a plane in macassar ebony which will still mark but this mulga does not.
