HNT Gordon and Ashby boh make their own blades, I believe.

Thanks Rick, I wonder if they produce plane blades for other Makes and models as well as their own.
I guess a phone call to them may answer my query.

I don't think either of them would have blades to fit ordinary Stanley planes or anything else that takes thin blades but they might be able to put you on to whoever supplies the blades. I don't have a contact for Ashby but you can certainly find out from Mik International (one of the nicest mobs you could ever deal with) on 08 83332977.

Cheers Rick,Yeah you are right about MIK Int,they are truly accommodating and most helpful as are the people on this BB.
I have found Mike at MIK to be one of the best blokes in the business to deal with and as I have a couple of queries for him I shall call him forthwith.
