Show off your planes
I have an idea. Take a picture of your plane collection and post it here tonight. C’mon show us your LV, LN, Majunfung, Stanley, Clifton, Record planes. What do you reckon?

Okay, I'll have to get some pics of my Woodfast 10" jointer and my Leda 15" thicknesser plus the metabo and casals planers Oh I've got some of those manual push type ones that are gathering dust somewhere.

Ask that Rob Lee fellow - I hear he has a few

Dazzler is fibbing I think. He couldn't possibly own that many of those planes, and can you imagine how the neighbours would react if he used them.

You have good taste in your choices.
I am in the process of re-organising stuff ... it piles up. Hence I am selling bits and pieces.
Here is a recent picture of some (and, yes, I use them all - I rarely use my power tools these days, with the exception of the bandsaw).
Good luck with the wife

Wongo,
First Major and now you are infected by this insidious disease of plane collecting. But still, I can't complain that you have been unduly distracted from making things, in view of the very handsome rockers you have produced recently. And I have to admit that even the most chronically infected sufferer from the disease has managed to produce a very handsome object recently, even if it was another plane to add to his collection.
I have just five planes, and even that is probably two too many. If I had my druthers, I would own a LV LA jack, a LV LA block plane, and a Record compass plane; but in fact I only own one from that list at the moment; but the planes I do own do the job, but probably not as well as those.
