Port and starboard skews
I replace the handles on the majority of my chisels and I thought I'd have a bit of fun with this pair of Ash-handled skews.
.
I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.

Hi WW
I think I would need my sunglasses in the workshop to avoid going blind .. but the turnings are delightful.

Now that sets a new standard in skill (as if you hadn't demonstrated enough already)
Not only do you not have to be colour blind, you have to be aware of the rules of the sea. Definitely a new version of "pass the port"
Nice one,
Jim

Hi Woodwould,
Nice shape, nice clean turning. the colours have a certain "Buck Rogers" look to them.
The port and starboard lights for the different skews concept means you have a marine background?

At least you might be able to fund 'em amongst the shavings.

Nifty idea WW, but I won't be rushing to copy this one b'cos:
a) Colourblind (which causes a few problems in the day job! )
b) I would spend much more time trying to remember which colour was left or right & forget to glance at the tip....
Those off-cuts from the table, have come in handy then?
Cheers,IW

Can I have a piece of the work bench they are sitting on?
Cliff.
If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.
