Not sure about this one and I have not done any research. Just consider that it may be a pruning saw. In the early days they looked just like a handsaw.

Bottom,
I brought a vintage pruning saw.
If Sally here's this I'm humiliated for life.
I'm going to find an alternative idea anything will do.
It was an American made saw sent to Japan for sharpening.
But they put the blade in back to front [emoji12][emoji12]

Perhaps a northern hemisphere saw made for timbers with opposing tree rings?

My favourite Luddite. A Forum member. Once lived in a prominent European country (I'm giving you some clues). If he painted your saw it would truly value add. Don't expect a twee scene though.

Stewie.
Those "buttons" there would look great polished up and mounted on a board all framed up.
In office study.

I've also decided I could possibly let Sally have her bloody painted saw.
If this is painted on it to save blood on her hands.
Less I become, well let's say a picture says a million words.

Stewie
I have just realised that collecting medallions could be a sideline.
The truth is that some of those medallions were a work of art in themselves.
