Thanks Wheelin'. I will probably Japan it as it will look 'better'. I'll post pics of the process plus i'll let you know which 'brew' I used. There seems to be a few reciepes out there.
Pac Man...blade is still a work in progress even though it is an unused blade. Either my veritas jig or the manufacturer doesn't know what 25 degrees is. But once it's sharpened I have a little project ready for it.

Well a big thanks to Scribbly Gum for the chip breaker.
Got the Testrite together but not without some dramas that a file wouldn't fix. So I got to make some curlys,
Very nice still they could be thinner but all in all is now a good user for my young fellow.
