I'm out - got tired of hearing nothing and bought Besseys instead.
It might be an idea for someone to PM the original poster and ask him to provide an update? Months have passed......

I do think it's time for this group buy to either progress or close. Don't really mind which.
I have run one of these things and appreciate the effort involved so don't get me wrong, I'm not whinging.
Bitslong has been on the forums today but hasn't posted since 13th Jan. If you're still getting the updates, please let us know what's going on!
Cheers,
Dave

I just noticed what looks like a good deal on the inside cover of Australian Woodsmith #76.
They have dealers in most locations around Aus and their current prices seem pretty good:
12" $110 per pair
24" $120 per pair
50" $140 per pair
82" $100 per pair
98" $110 per pair
Framing Kit (2 x 24" + 2 x 40" + Cross Docs + Bench Dogs) $279
No affiliation in any way - I just though it might be a good option for some folks.
Cheers,

I'm out
I'm out, this has been a waste of time since nothing has been heard from the original post.

Thanks gimjam, I might go that way as well. If they come in cheaper in the buy, I'll get some more....

JET distribution is a bit of a shambles - I was at Major Woodworking (Sydney) today buying a sawblade, and they still don't have any of these clamps.
National advertising in magazines, prices quoted ex-Brisbane, and the largest Sydney JET dealer doesn't have any product. Hmmmm.....
The reason I ended up getting the Bessey clamps is that you can actually BUY them.....

Sorry all.
I have been in and out a bit (of the forums) and this has sat on the backburner for me, for too long.
Employment ended earlier this year and I'm still not working
Apologies for the inconvenience, in hindsight I should have ditched/passed on the idea much earlier rather than to hold out hope.

Dave
