Group Purchase - Second Saw Plate and Slit Brass
Hi All,
The second batch is now open for orders....
Mike Wenzloff has generously come to the rescue, and I now have the next batch of 0.020 1095 saw plate,
If I can get down to Melbourne in the near future , I will be picking up enough 3/4x1/4 brass (cut to 900mm lengths) to match the saw plate.
Prozac, HarryR, Kevjed, Thumbsucker you are already in, I just need you to confirm quantities
Orders only in multiples of 900mm would be best.
Regards
Ray

Ray, I would like to bump up my order to 6 lengths.
I have been working on my first two saws, and 4 people in my course have asked me to get some brass and plate for them.

Hi BobL
I don't know the cost of the slit brass, I doubt it will be the same as last time, maybe a little cheaper?
The saw plate is $135 for 60 feet, which comes out to approx $7 per 900mm length.
Plus postage of course.
Hi Sheetmetal,
Yep, it's saw making season.
This group purchase is for slit brass (3/4 x 1/4) 20 thou slit, and 3" 20 thou 1095 spring steel saw plate. We are working in 900mm lengths, since that is convenient for postage and 3.6m stock sizes.
I have a friend with an engineering shop who is (after making some custom tooling) now set up to slit long lengths of brass stock.
Regards
Ray
